PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS


PROOF OF RESIDENCE
The Recreation Department reserves the right to request proof of residency for any participation in a program, event or activity.

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT
WEATHER:
Cancellations and postponements will be emailed to all participants affected. Decisions are made as early in the day as possible, to allow for communication time. In isolated situations, decisions may be made last minute, if needed. Verify your account and set up a second email to ensure you receive all communication and check your spam folder to verify our email address. Our website and program page will contain the most up-to-date information regarding your program. Check our website frequently to stay up to date. 

LOW ENROLLMENT:
The Department reserves the right to set a maximum for each program and to cancel any program due to low enrollment. Should a program be cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS
If you would like to request withdrawal from a program, you must email the Recreation Department as soon as possible with any pertinent information. All programs are non-refundable. An account credit will be issued if cancellation is received 7 days prior to the beginning of the program. 

Due to limited space in our programs, refunds are not given unless for a medical reason, upon receipt of a doctor’s note, one week prior to the program’s start. Once a program has begun, account credit is given in a case of a medical emergency with submission of a doctor’s note. Extenuating circumstances, which are not medical in nature, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
